Gógó Bergmann is an Icelandic actress based in Reykjavík working in film in both Icelandic and English.

Her work to date includes a number of short films in which she has taken on a range of leading and supporting roles exploring emotional range and physicality through the Michael Chekhov technique.

These projects have formed the foundation for her work in character-driven storytelling.

Born Guðbjörg Bergmann Skarphéðinsdóttir, she works professionally under the name Gógó Bergmann.

Gógó is drawn to complex, human-centred narratives and is actively developing her work in film, with a focus on projects that allow for sustained character exploration and collaboration.
